Curves in Constantine Bay
A multifunctional space – where family life and football could happily co-exist – was a key part of the brief in this large coastal garden, just moments from the beach. Crisp Trebarwith slate walls, barefoot-friendly grey limestone paving, and planks of locally sourced granite compliment the interior design and architecture by Harrison Sutton. Dwarf pines and large drifts of perennials, including globe thistle and sea holly are repeated to forge connections throughout, and honour the coastal location. An irrigation system fed from an onsite borehole is helping the plants establish on what is a very sandy soil. Built by Terry Harris & Sons, this project was completed in May 2022.
